Bulb Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update, 23 March 2020

These are challenging times.

A case of watching, listening and learning for all of us and hopefully being able to differentiate facts from hysteria.

At Bulb, the safety of our employees, their families and the wider community we operate in is paramount. At the same time, we appreciate an urgent need to establish a balanced view centred around public health and the fulfilment of commitments to clients, consultants, & the supply chain who have come to expect the best in service from us over the last 14 years.

The government advice is shifting daily as new data is pushed through ‘the model’, and we respond accordingly with briefings, engaging all and reacting through a safe and informed consensus. As with anything that tests us, it provokes innovation and creativity, and when we come through this, the ‘lessons learnt’ will surely stand us in great stead for the future.

While our site operations have been modified to ensure compliance with Government and NHS recommendations, we move forward together with absolute diligence and care. We have altered ‘the ways we work’, by limiting non-essential meetings, travels and implementing working remotely. The whole Bulb team is well-equipped to work from home with robust IT systems and support.

Currently, both our Reading office at Priory Court, Beech Hill and Oxford office at 46, Woodstock Road remain open in support of our ongoing projects. We want to emphasise that our team is available ‘as usual’ to support all stakeholders through telephone, e-mail, skype or any other preferred communication channel. We would urge you to check our websites (Bulb Interiors & Bulb Laboratories) and social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) for regular updates.

We want to thank everyone who continues to work with us, and particularly those searching for an answer and helping others, the list seems endless.

If you want any further information or have a specific request, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Many Thanks

Derek Jones & Paul Horsburgh
