A detailed consultancy exercise was undertaken to establish the requirements for creation of a CL2 compliant laboratory & high-quality offices.

Working collaboratively with the client team, the specification & design were developed, tendered & delivered on time & to budget.

The detailed design was co-ordinated & approved via the Landlord team including infrastructure, enabling works & design of MEP services & gas installations.

Despite some delays to the delivery of the project through COVID-19, the client was delighted with the way the project was delivered & the quality of the new facility.

The quantum revolution has the potential to reshape our world: from enabling life-changing drug discoveries to developing new battery technologies. OQC has built the UK’s most advanced quantum computer, the only one commercially available in the country.

To support this goal, we created an ISO7 clean room with a ducted fume cupboard, a controlled area for several cryostat rigs, including power and data supplies with control units and cooling pumps. A bespoke compressor plant solution designed and delivered with chilled water distribution systems to service cryostats and to keep the quantum computers functioning without fail.

The client was extremely delighted with the final result.

Development in Animal Dynamics Lab happens via iterative design and testing, the team iteratively makes and tests systems, combining the latest electronics, design software and materials to optimise overall results.

To support this goal, we created engineering labs and a testing area on the ground floor.

Lab areas were fitted with appropriate ventilation, benching, furniture and plumbing.

The first floor was converted into individual and open offices, meeting rooms, collaboration and breakout area.

The client was extremely delighted with the final result.

A stunning and highly engineered project involving a bespoke reception, offices, and laboratory fit-out.

Following selection via a tendering process, we delivered the premises for this high technology business. To reflect the business ambition, a spacious, full height reception area was created with an impressive staircase. Beyond the reception area, two floors comprising of labs on the ground and offices, meeting and breakout space on the first floor were constructed by the installation of the mezzanine floor. A ducted fume cupboard and other services were provided to serve the lab area, as part of this high-tech lab design.

Creation of a Containment Level 2, drug discovery automation laboratory. It required specific design attention to achieve a compliant process flow for ground floor laboratories as the space was land-locked on three sides. A value engineered project to achieve the desired high impact look within an agreed budget.

Work included mezzanine floor installation, automation areas, specialist storage, office & breakout space, meeting room and an expansion area. The warehouse required new air conditioning, ventilation, power and lighting. Office, breakout and laboratory furniture was designed and installed to Arctoris’ specific requirements.
